OLEAN, NY – The Purple Eagles earned a split of its dual match with St. Bonaventure on Friday as the men defeated the Bonnies, 6-1, and the women fell to the Little Three Rival, 4-3.

Men's Singles
• Niagara swept men's singles with four of the six matches ending in straight sets.
•
Trevor Masi remains undefeated with his fourth win in No. 1 singles and ninth overall.
•
Jorge Sedeno has now won two of his last three after winning his No. 4 singles match this afternoon.
•
Tanner Bedard continues the impressive start to his collegiate career, winning his No. 3 match in three-sets.
•
Manuel Alonso who moved into the second slot against the Bonnies won his fifth match of the season.
•
William Gothlin played in his first singles match since the fall, defeating his opponent on court six.
•
Gurustat Makkar won his No. 5 singles match and is now 5-2 on the year.
Men's Doubles
• Niagara dropped all three doubles games, giving Bonaventure the point.
Women's Singles
• Elena Mayet defeated her opponent in three sets to improve to 4-8 on the season. It was also her first win in the second position this season.
• Mercedes Velasco dispatched her competition in straight-sets, picking up her third win in four matches. The first-year Purple Eagle is now 4-6 overall in dual match singles.
• In the sixth slot, Kirah Regales won over the Bonnies Velilla in straight sets to secure one of three points for NU. It was the graduate students first appearance this season in dual match singles competition.
Women's Doubles
• Like the men, Niagara fell in all three doubles matches.

• The men will travel to East Lansing to take on Xavier and Michigan State next week. The women will take on Buffalo on Monday night in Amherst.
