ROCHESTER, NY – The Purple Eagles picked up a 7-2 win over RIT Tuesday afternoon by sweeping all six singles matches and taking one of the three doubles competitions.

Manuel Alonso returned to the No. 1 slot for the first time in since mid-February and picked up the win over RIT's Christian Berko, 7-5, 6-0.

Tanner Bedard dispatched Grahith Movva, 6-0, 6-1, picking up his first career win on court two.

Jorge Sedeno defeated Jake Wolicki, 6-4, 6-1, and is now 2-0 in the No. 3 singles position this season.

Gurustat Makkar picked up a win in the No. 4 dual, defeating RIT's Joel Pho, 6-1, 6-2

Roberto Vaca picked up a 6-0, 6-3 win in No. 5 singles match against RIT's Max Chang.

Eduardo Villalpando picked up his first win since Feb. 27, defeating Carter Casimir, 6-2, 6-3

• The Tigers top pairing of Jake Wolicki and Jacob Meyerson defeated NU's top doubles dua Bedard and Makkar, 8-6
• In No. 2 doubles, Villalpando and Sedeno , dispatched RIT's Joel Pho and Carter Casimir 8-3
• RIT picked up the No. 3 doubles win as Grahith Movva and Christian Berko dropped Alonso and
Salvador Vazquez 8-5.
