GENEVA, N.Y. – The Purple and White picked up their second consecutive win with a 6-1 victory over William Smith College.
 
Match Recap
Singles
• Elena Mayet won her match on court one in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2.
• Coral Rodriguez picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win over her opponent in No. 3 singles.
• In No. 4 singles, Jaida Borg won, dispatching her opponent, 6-1, 6-2.
• Erika Gonzalez and Mercedes Velasco won their No. 5 and No. 6 singles matches, respectively. Gonzalez picked up the 6-2, 6-0 win, while Velasco dominated her opponent, 6-0, 6-0.
 
Doubles
• The Purple and White won the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches to take the point.  
• Gonzalez and Humiston won their No. 2 doubles match by the final score of 6-2, while Emma Shea and Jaida Borg won their No. 3 match by the score of 6-3.
 
Niagara Notes
• Borg, Rodriguez, Velasco, and Gonzalez finished the weekend 2-0 to help NU pick up its first two team wins of the season.
• Gonzalez is 5-4 on the season and has won three-straight singles matches in the fifth slot.
•  Shea and Borg's doubles match was their first as a pairing this season.
• Gonzalez and Borg picked up their first win as a pairing this season in the No. 2 position.
