NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, NY – The Purple and White will play their final regular season road game Thursday night in Jersey City before returning home for Senior Day Saturday at the Gallagher Center.
 
Niagara and the Peacocks will tip-off at 7 p.m. from the new Run-Baby-Run Arena Thursday night. The Purple and White will host Battle of the Bridge Rival Canisius on Saturday at 2 p.m..
 
Last Time Out
• Niagara had its five-game win streak snapped at Quinnipiac on Saturday, falling to the Bobcats, 76-57.
• Angel Parker finished with a career-high 30 points in the loss. The junior also recorded four steals, two blocks and two assists.
• Aaliyah Parker finished with 13 points and nine rebounds, one rebound shy of her fifth double-double of the season.
• The Parker sisters combined to score the first 25 points of the game against the Bobcats.
• Saige Glover scored a career-high six points in the loss.
• Niagara scored 20 points off 21 Quinnipiac turnovers while also collecting 18 fast break points and 28 in the paint.

• The Purple Eagles enter the weekend 12-13 overall and 9-8 in league play this season.
• Niagara leads the MAAC assists (344), free throw attempts (496), free throws made (340), offensive rebounds per game (15.3), scoring offense (71.3), steals (332), steals per game (13.3), and forced turnovers per game (25.48).
• Angel leads the MAAC and is third in the nation in steals per game (3.79).
• The junior is one of five players in all of NCAA Division I women's basketball to average at least 15 points, 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game this season.
• Freshman Aaliyah Parker earned her seventh MAAC Rookie of the Week award this past Monday after averaging 17 points, seven rebounds, and 3.5 steals per contest last week.
• On the season, Aaliyah is averaging 12.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 1.8 assists per contest. She has reached double figures in the scoring column 16 times, 11 of which have come during league play.
• Olivia Mason has been a constant for Niagara this season, averaging 6.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. The senior leads NU with 3.3 offensive boards per contest.
• Maddy Yelle, who has missed the last two games, is Niagara's leader from the floor, shooting 47.4 percent this season. The senior is averaging a career-best 8.7 points per game this year.
• Niagara is 10-2 when scoring more than 73 points in a game and are 6-0 when scoring 80-plus points.
• The Purple and White will play two of its final three games at home before heading to Atlantic City for the MAAC Championship.
 
Series History: Saint Peter's
• Saint Peter's took this first game in the season-seris with NU, narrowly defeating Niagara 68-64 in the Gallagher Center.
• Saint Peter's leads the all-time series, 47-31.
• Niagara's last win in Jersey City came on Feb. 13, 2020, a 68-64 win.
• Niagara is 8-2 in the last 10 games against the Peacocks, with SPU winning the last two contests.
 
Series History: Canisius
• Niagara defeated Canisius in overtime 87-86 back on Jan. 9 at the Koessler Athletic Center.
• The Purple and White are now 38-61 all-time against the Golden Griffins.
