Metro Conference Announces 2026-27 Women’s Basketball Conference Slate

Edison, N.J. - The Metro Conference announced the 2026-27 women's basketball schedule Monday morning. 
 
Niagara will play a total of 20 league games with two games against eight of its 12 conference opponents while playing Sacred Heart, Siena, Manhattan and Farfield once. 
 
The Purple and White will start on the road on Dec. 19 at Mount St. Mary's then at Rider on Dec. 21. Niagara will return home for two games starting on Jan 1 as they take on Sacred Heart followed by Marist on Jan. 3. 
 
The Purple Eagles will head back on the road to take on Iona (Jan. 7) and Saint Peter's (Jan. 9). The Purple and White head back to Monteagle Ridge on Jan. 16 to host Quinnipiac followed by Merrimack on Jan 18. 
 
Niagara then will go on a two-game road trip to Siena (Jan. 21) then take on Battle of the Bridge Rival, Canisius (Jan. 23). 
 
The Purple and White head back home for a two game homestand to take on Manhatton on Jan. 28 followed by hosting Saint Peter's on Jan. 30. 
 
To start the month of February, the Purple Eagles are back on the road to face Marist (Feb. 4) then travel to Quinnipiac (Feb. 6). 
 
Niagara will host cross-town rival Canisius on Feb. 11 then host Iona on Feb. 13. 
 
The Purple Eagles begin their last two-game road trip on Feb. 18 as they take on Merrimack followed by a game against Fairfield on Feb. 20. 
 
The Purple and White head back to the Ridge to close out the regular season to host Rider on Feb. 25 and in the regular season finale against Mount St. Mary's on Feb. 27. 
 
The Metro Conference Women's Basketball Tournament will once again take place in Atlantic City, N.J. March 4-8.
