EDISON., N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has announced Niagara's 20-game conference slate for the 2021-22 season.

The Purple Eagles open their conference schedule at home, hosting the Monmouth Hawks on Friday, Dec. 3 and the Fairfield Stags on Sunday, Dec. 5.

Niagara plays at Quinnipiac on New Year's Eve and plays its first game of the New Year at Manhattan on Jan. 2.

The Purple Eagles return to the Gallagher Center to face Quinnipiac on Jan. 9 and they host the first of two Battle of the Bridge matchups with crosstown rival Canisius on Friday, Jan. 14.

Niagara heads to New Rochelle to take on Rick Pitino's Iona Gaels on Jan. 16, before returning home to host Saint Peter's on Jan. 21 and Rider on Jan. 23.

The Purple Eagles play at Siena on Jan. 28 and close out the month of January at Monmouth on Jan. 30.

Niagara welcomes Manhattan to the Gallagher Center on Feb. 4 and hosts Iona on Feb. 6.

The Purple Eagles kick-off a five-game road swing at Fairfield on Feb. 12 and play at Marist on Feb. 14. They close out the Battle of the Bridge series at Canisius on Feb. 19, followed by games at Rider (Feb. 25) and Saint Peter's (Feb. 27).

Niagara closes out the regular season at home, hosting Siena on March 3 and Marist on March 5.

The MAAC Championships will be held March 8-12 at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J.
