The Niagara University Purple Eagles host archrival Canisius to close out their regular season schedule on Tuesday night.  

Scene Setter
  • The Purple Eagles enter the final week of regular season play in a tie for eighth place with Canisius with both teams at 3 points. Niagara holds the tie-breaker for its 1-0 win on March 9.
  • The top-8 teams qualify for the conference tournament which begins on April 9.
  • After a month layoff, the short-handed Purple Eagles fell to the Siena Saints on April 1 and had to forfeit their match with Quinnipiac on April 3.
Kickoff Tidbits
  • Niagara opened the season with a 1-0 win at Canisius on March 3. Annie Ibey scored the game-winning goal in the 40th minute in a match Niagara controlled. The win was Niagara's first in the series since the 2015 season.
  • Annie Ibey is two goals away from entering the top-10 in career goals at Niagara. She currently has 17 goals.
