The Niagara men's and women's swimming and diving teams officially open the 2020-21 season with a dual meet against St. Bonaventure on Sunday, March 7. Diving will begin at 11:00 a.m. and swimming starts at 1:30 p.m.

SCENE SETTER

The Purple Eagles officially open the season after having their fall events cancelled due to Covid-19 protocol.
Niagara will compete against Canisius and Binghamton on March 13 and will host Alfred State for Senior Day on March 20.

MEET TIDBITS

The women's team placed seventh at the 2020 MAAC Championships.
Yvonne Schere (100 free), Isabella DeSimone (100 free), Delaney Labue (400 IM) and Zoe Gavin (100 fly) all set top-10 program times at the tournament.
The team returns 11 from last year's team and welcomes six newcomers.
The men's team placed ninth at the 2020 MAAC Championships.
Noah Brooks set a top-10 program time in the 400 IM at the MAAC Championships. He finished the event in 4:06.05, which is the fourth-fastest time in program history.
The men's team returns four from last season's squad and welcomes 13 newcomers.
