NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – The Purple Eagles cruised to a 6-1 win over the RIT Tigers for their first win of 2021.

  • Erika Gonzalez finished her match first, winning in straight sets in three singles 6-1, 6-0.
  • Elena Mayet, playing in the one spot for the first time, blanked her opponent 6-0, 6-0.
  • Coral Rodriguez won her match, 6-2, 6-3, for her first collegiate win.
  • Jaida Borg rallied from set down to pick up her first career win.
  • In No. 5 singles, Madigan Humiston topped Abby Murray 6-3, 6-2.
