Niagara Notes
• The Purple Eagles picked up a series split with Mercyhurst this past weekend. Niagara salvaged the series with a 2-1 win at home on Saturday after getting shutout Friday night on the road.
• Three Purple Eagle skaters have 10 or more points this season.
Walker Sommer leads the team with 12 points (5G, 7A), followed by Ryan Nuamovski (3G, 8A) and
Ludwig Stenlund (5G, 5A) with 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Christian Gorscak is second in all of Atlantic Hockey with two (1G, 1A) short-handed points. Gorscak and
Ryan Cox are two of 16 Atlantic Hockey players to score a short-handed goal.

Jared Brandt ranks eighth in defenseman scoring in the conference with nine points. Brandt added to that total in the win over Mercyhurst with an assist on the Stenlund goal.

Croix Evingson (7 points) and
Chris Harpur (6 points) also find themselves inside the top-20 in defensman scoring.
• Harpur recorded two assists in the win over Mercyhurst, which gives him six on the season, fourth best on the team.

Chad Veltri earned his first win between the pipes this season as the sophomore made 25 stops on 26 shots faced Saturday night.

Ryan Cox leads the team with 128 faceoff wins this season.
