NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – The Purple Eagles (4-7-0, 2-2-0 MAAC) netted three goals in the final four minutes of Wednesday's game to defeat Siena (6-5-2, 2-2-1 MAAC), 3-1.

Game Recap

• Luigi Boa Morte had a chance for the Purple Eagles in the 14^th minute, sending a shot towards the bottom left corner of the net, but it was saved by the Siena keeper.
• Federico Cugge and Stephen Hasse created opportunities for NU, but both their shots were saved.
• Ali Alomari and Asher Barnes took back-to-back shots for the Purple Eagles late in the first half, but neither found their mark and NU and the Saints were scoreless going into halftime.
• The Saints scored in the 70^th minute to take a 1-0 lead over the Purple Eagles.
• Niagara continued to pepper the Saints' defense with shots, including shots from Boa Morte, Goncalo Verissimo, Cugge and Jelldrik Dallmann.
• In the 87^th minute, Dallmann found the back of the net, assisted by Hasse, to tie the game, 1-1.
• In the 89^th minute, off a corner kick from Hasse, Jayson Repine backwards-headed the ball into the net to put the Purple Eagles in the lead, 2-1.
• Dallmann added one more goal for Niagara in the 90^th minute to record the first multi-goal game of his NU career and secure the 3-1 victory. He was assisted by Gabriel Mikina and Alomari.

Eagle's Eye On

• Dallmann now has six goals on the season, which leads the team. He led the Purple Eagkes with four shots and three shots on goal.
• Repine's goal was his first of the season and second of his career.
• Boa Morte, Cugge, Hasse and Verissimo each had two shots on goal.
• Nick Burke (2-3-0) earned the win in goal.
• The Purple Eagles outshot the Saints, 22-6, and led in shots on goal, 15-2.
