Game Summary
Marist shot a season-high 54.7 percent from the field in a contest the Purple Eagles never led.  The Red Foxes jumped out a 13-5 lead six minutes into the game before an 11-4 spurt, capped by a Nick MacDonald 3-pointer, brought NU to 17-16.

The Red Foxes extended their lead to 27-16 on a 10-0 run in a two-minute span. A James Towns layup cut the score to 28-25 with 4:30 remaining in the half, but Marist used a 7-2 run to reestablish its double-digit lead.

Niagara, which trailed 42-33 at halftime, faced a double-digit deficit for the majority of the second half. A Greg Kuakumensah jumper one minute into the second half made the score 44-35 in favor of the Red Foxes; it would be the last time the deficit was in single digits.

A 10-0 Marist run effectively sealed the game as the Red Foxes built a 65-45 lead with 7:50 remaining. Marist led by as much as 25 points in the second half en route to its third straight win in the series.
