The Niagara Purple Eagles are back on the ice to take on the No. 10 Clarkson Golden Knights on Tuesday, December 29 at 5 p.m.
 
Match Notes
  • The Purple Eagles and Golden Knights will meet for the second time this month. Niagara and Clarkson haven't met in five seasons prior to their December 9 meeting.
  • The Purple Eagles, who led 3-0 midway through the second period, played a complete game en route to upending the then-seventh ranked Golden Knights, 4-1, at Dwyer Arena.
  • In his debut as a Purple Eagle, goaltender Mike Corson made a career-high 23 saves and had a. 958 save percentage. He was named Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the Week for his performance.  
  • NU, which trails in the all-time series, is looking for consecutive wins for the first time in the series history.
