After a three-game road trip, the Purple Eagles return to Niagara Field to host the Iona Gaels on Saturday, September 28 at 12 p.m.
 
Scene Setter

• Niagara dropped its MAAC opener at Fairfield, 5-1, on September 21. It was Niagara's largest defeat to a conference opponent in three seasons.
• Niagara is 13-5-2 in the last 20 meetings with Iona, including winning the last two meetings. Niagara is 8-2-0 at home during that stretch.
• The Purple Eagles are 11-1-0 in their last 12 home games, including 2-0-0 this season.

• The Gaels went 2-6-1 in non-conference play with wins over St. Bonaventure and Saint Francis Brooklyn. Iona tied Marist in its conference opener.
• Faith Preziosi and Amber Crispin share team-high honor in goals with five. Preziosi has two assists as she leads the team in total points with 12.
• Keeper Emma Havrilla has played in nine of the 10 games and has a 2.27 GAA, while Angelina DeCicco has been in goal for the two wins.
