• The Purple Eagles played a pair of road contests last week. Niagara drew at Cleveland State, 0-0, before being edged by Big 4 rival Buffalo, 1-0. The defeat snapped Niagara' four-game unbeaten streak.
• Niagara trails Fairfield in the all-time series, but is 4-1-1 in the last six meetings.
• Niagara is 4-5-1 in its last 10 MAAC openers.
• The Purple Eagles are one of three teams in the MAAC who had a winning record in non-conference games.
