NIAGARA UNIV, N.Y. – Niagara University men's basketball head coach

Simon Gray will embark on a caravan to share the vision of the Purple Eagles men's basketball program.
The first leg of the tour begins in
Philadelphia at the Union League Golf Club at Torresdale on Wednesday, May 15 from 6-8 p.m, followed by a visit to
New York City at the Anchor Bar on Thursday, May 16 from 5-8 p.m. The caravan will also make stops in
Albany at the C.H. Evans Brewing Co. at Albany Pump Station on May 20 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m, in
Syracuse at the Bellevue Country Club on May 20 from 6-8 p.m., and in
Rochester at the Country Club of Rochester on May 21 from 6-8 p.m.
Beilein, a rising star in the coaching profession, was named the 22nd head coach of the Niagara University men's basketball program on March 28. Beilein brings an impressive pedigree to Niagara University as a former NCAA Division I student-athlete and with coaching experience at the NBA, NCAA Division I and II level.
Beilein spent the last four years leading the Le Moyne Dolphins program. Beilein, a two-time Northeast-10 Conference Coach of the Year recipient, guided Le Moyne to three straight NCAA Tournament appearances including the program's first-ever NCAA Elite 8 appearance in 2018.
Beilein was a four-year letterwinner at West Virginia University where he was a 1,000-point scorer and a senior co-captain. He was a member of two NCAA Tournament and one NIT Tournament teams.
