Donchu Wins Second Straight In Women’s Tennis Loss

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Olga Donchu provided Niagara's lone point as the Purple Eagles fell at the Bucknell Bison, 6-1, on Saturday.

Match Summary
  • Bucknell won all three doubles matches to win the point. The closest match was played in No. 1 doubles with the team of Paige Leavy and Cayla Koch edging Chhinda Som and Andreea Peteu, 7-5.
  • In singles, Niagara dropped close matches in the one and sixth spots.
  • Olga Donchu rallied to defeat Bucknell's Mishi Papich in four singles. After losing the first set, 4-6, Donchu won the second set, 6-4, and the super tiebreaker set, 10-3.
