OLEAN, N.Y. – A day after a draining match in a defeat to the conference favorites, the Purple Eagles fell to the Detroit Titans, 6-1, on Sunday.  

Match Summary

• Niagara's No. 1 doubles team – Chhinda Som and Megan Gamble – defeated Chelsea and Jasmine Apawti, 6-3.
• Detroit won in two and three doubles to take the point.
• Freshman Erika Gonzalez provided Niagara's lone point of the match, with a 6-1, 6-0 victory in six singles.
• Olga Donchu dropped a close three-setter in three singles.
