WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - The Niagara women's soccer team was eliminated from the MAAC tournament, 3-0, by Monmouth on Thursday evening. The Purple Eagles started strong and got a flurry of activity in the Monmouth defensive third early, but the Hawks were able to pull away with two second half goals.

- 6' - The Hawks generates the game's first shot on goal, but Sabrina Locas was up to the task and made an easy denial to keep the game scoreless.
- 10' - A Monmouth turnover right in front of the net put the Purple Eagles in position to take the lead, but Annie Ibey's shot was batted away for a Niagara corner.
- 19' - With Monmouth swarming a loose ball in the box and Locas out of position, Hadley Bucken put her body in front of the shot to deny the Hawks on the possession.
- 22' - Ibey took a shot from mid-range that was nearly out of reach of the Monmouth keeper, but the extension was enough to put the ball onto the crossbar and keep it out of the net.
- 62' - Locas made two quick saves in the midst of a Monmouth rush that saw the Hawks take four shots in a matter of three minutes.
