NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – The Purple Eagles completed a season sweep of Saint Peter's on Saturday, defeating the Peacocks, 64-54.

Game Recap
- The Peacocks went on a 9-0 run to open the first quarter, but Niagara bounced back soundly, going on a 12-3 run, which included back-to-back 3-pointers from Jamie Sherburne and Maggie McIntyre to tie things up, 12-12, at the end of the first quarter.
- Niagara took its first lead of the game, 14-12, less than a minute into the second thanks to a layup from Bryant. Bryant, who had eight of her 12 points in the second quarter, helped the Purple Eagles to a 30-26 lead going into halftime.
- McIntyre hit another three with a little under seven minutes remaining in the third quarter to extend Niagara's lead, 39-30. Rampado added eight points in the third quarter and the Purple Eagles led the Peacocks, 48-44, going into the final 10 minutes of play.
- . Sherburne sank two more 3-pointers in the fourth quarter and Niagara came away with the victory, 64-54, over Saint Peter's.
Coach's Corner
- " I thought our defense kept us in the game and it gave us momentum at the offensive end, so we were able to capitalize on those turnovers that we were able to force," said head coach Jada Pierce.
Inside the Numbers
- Rampado led the Purple Eagles with 20 points and nine rebounds.
- Stroemple led the team with a season-high six assists.
- Bryant added 12 points and McIntyre had 10. McIntyre also brought down seven rebounds, only one shy of her career-high.
- Sherburne had a career-high seven steals and added nine points for the Purple Eagles.
- This was Niagara seventh straight home victory over Saint Peter's.
