Game Recap
  • The Purple Eagles went on a 6-0 run to open the game. With a little under four minutes remaining in the first quarter, NU and the Raiders were tied, 8-8, but four points from Moore put Niagara back in the lead 12-8. Niagara maintained the lead the rest of the first quarter, going into the second quarter leading the Raiders 17-15.
  • Niagara dominated the second quarter. Three treys from Moore and two from Maggie McIntyre helped the Purple Eagles to a 40-24 lead going into halftime.
  • With a little over four and a half minutes left in the third quarter, Niagara led Colgate, 51-38, but the Raiders went on an 11-0 run and at the end of the quarter, Niagara led by only one point, 52-51.

Coach's Corner
  • "Early on in the game we were able to get stops, and that fueled our offense," said head coach Jada Pierce. "We stalled a little bit, we gave up some second chance points, and we knew Colgate was going to have a run in them. I'm really proud of us right now and I'm just so proud of everybody stepping up."
