Niagara Returns Home To Host Jaspers Wednesday Night

The Niagara Purple Eagles, who are 5-1 in their last six games, host the Manhattan Jaspers in a mid-week MAAC clash on Wednesday, January 24 at 7 p.m.
 
Scene Setter
•  The Purple Eagles had their five-game win streak and six-game road win streak snapped by Fairfield in their previous game. NU's five-game win streak was its longest in five seasons and the six-game road win streak was tied for the fourth longest in the NCAA.
•  Niagara has won its last two games at the Gallagher Center to even its home record to 5-5. The Purple Eagles are one home win away from their most home wins in five seasons.
•  This will be Niagara's lone home game in its current six-game stretch. Niagara split a pair of road games last week and will play three straight road games after Wednesday's contests. Niagara's next home game will be on February 8 against Quinnipiac.
•  Niagara is 5-1 in the month of January for its best January mark since going 9-1 in 2013.
•  Niagara is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings with Manhattan at the Gallagher Center.

•  Matt Scott is FIRST in the conference in free throw made and free throw attempts, while ranking ninth and fourth, respectively, nationally.
•  Kahlil Dukes is 45 points away from scoring 1,000 points at Niagara.

•  Pauly Paulicap leads the MAAC in total blocks (50) and blocks per game (2.5).
