LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – The Niagara women's basketball team fell to Rider, 65-58, on Thursday, halting its win streak at three games.

Game Recap
	- The first quarter was a defensive battle between the Purple Eagles and the Broncs. Kaylee Stroemple and Rampado each contributed four first-quarter points and NU trailed by only two points, 12-10, at the end of the first.
- With about eight minutes left in the second quarter, a bucket from Stroemple tied things up, 14-14. Another bucket from Stroemple tied the score again, 16-16, with a little over five and a half minutes remaining, and two points from Jamie Sherburne with a little over four and a half minutes left tied the score a third time, 18-18. The Broncs, however, began to pull away late in the quarter and NU trailed 30-21 going into halftime.
- The Purple Eagles began to pick up some momentum on offense in the third quarter. Eight points from Jai Moore in the first six minutes put Niagara down by only four points, 38-34. Sherburne converted a 3-point play to bring NU within one point, 38-37, but the Broncs once again picked up speed late in the quarter and led 47-40 at the end of the third.
- A Sherburne 3-pointer with about six and a half minutes left in the fourth quarter put Niagara within striking distance of Rider, 51-48, but the Purple Eagles could not overcome the Broncs, who came away with the 65-58 victory.
Inside the Numbers
	- Rampado led the Purple Eagles with 22 points. It is her eighth 20-plus point performance this season. Rampado also brought down seven rebounds.
- Moore recorded the first double-double of her career with 14 points and a team-high, and career-high, 10 rebounds.
- Sherburne added 10 points and Stroemple finished with eight points and nine rebounds.
