NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – The Niagara women's soccer teams returns home on Friday, Sept. 8 to face Fairleigh Dickinson at 7:00 p.m. and heads back on the road for a game at Cleveland State on Sunday, Sept. 10 at 1:00 p.m.
Last Time Out
- Niagara is coming off of two road wins last weekend, defeating Robert Morris, 2-1, and Akron, 1-0.
- After trailing early against Robert Morris, Niagara turned it around in the second half behind goals from Bayley Sullivan and Hailey Bicknell.
- Sullivan struck in the 65th minute after heading in a pass from Hadley Bucken. Bicknell gave Niagara the lead in the 83rd minute after a short free kick that saw Kelsey Lafferty delivering the go-ahead assist.
- Shania van Nuland received the win after recording three saves.
- Red-shirt freshman Mackenzie Mix had the lone goal against Akron in the 14th minute. She was assisted by Eva Bachmann and Bicknell.
- Sabrina Locas played the full match in net, recording a shutout on top of her four saves.

- The Purple Eagles have gone four games unbeaten (3-0-1) since their season opening loss at Michigan State.
- Bicknell leads the team in points with five (2 goals, 1 assist) and is tied with Sullivan for most goals.
- Kelsey Araujo leads the team in total shots (17) and shots on goal (10).
- Niagara's goalkeepers, van Nuland and Locas, continue to split appearances in net. They both have shown stellar performances of late with van Nuland recording a 0.80 goals against average (GAA) with 15 saves while Locas has managed a 1.10 GAA with 11 saves.

- Senior goalkeeper Jamie Daniels has played all but four minutes in net this season, notching a 1.12 GAA with 34 saves and two shutouts.
