Game Recap
- Niagara was dominant on offense and defense in the first half of the game, allowing only four shots from the Jaspers, three of which were saved by van Nuland.
- The Purple Eagles got on the board in the 45th minute. Betts scored her second goal of the season. Sullivan crossed the ball into the box and Betts finished on an open net, putting NU up, 1-0.
- Niagara came out even stronger on offense in the second half, creating strong opportunities and taking seven shots in under 15 minutes.
- In the 68th minute, Guevara crossed the ball into the box and Connor headed it off the crossbar and into the net to put the Purple Eagles up, 2-0.
- Niagara held Manhattan scoreless for the remainder of the game and came away with its first conference win of the season.

- "I loved the effort we put forth in the second half," said head coach Peter Veltri. "I thought out bench was outstanding! That's the type of effort we need to be successful"

- Niagara outshot Manhattan 10 to five in the second half and outshot the Jaspers 12 to 10 through the entire game.
- Van Nuland's four saves are her second-most in a single game so far this season.
- Betts, Eva Bachmann and Selena Mangoni led NU with two shots each and seven players (Betts, Connor, Bachmann, Mangoni, Sullivan, Hailey Bicknell and Hadley Bucken) each had one shot on goal.
