Coach's Corner
  • "It was a rough first half for us today," said head coach Peter Veltri. "We stepped off the bus and seemed to be mentally and physically a step behind. Unfortunately, by the time we got going, we were down and struggled to score. As the game progressed, I thought we did a good job of controlling the game, but we just couldn't catch a break. We will use this loss to grow and prepare for our next game."

Inside the Numbers
  • Araujo and Bayley Sullivan led the Purple Eagles with two shots each.
  • Araujo, Hensel, Sullivan and Morgan Genovese each had one shot on goal.
  • The Vikings narrowly outshot the Purple Eagles, 13-10.
