Coach's Corner
  • "Buffalo is a great team," said head coach Jada Pierce. "They have some great wins under their belt, so we knew what we were getting into tonight. They played hard and we matched them punch for punch, which was great. I think we did all the keys of victory that we needed to do as far as controlling the tempo of the game, getting stops on defense and boxing and we got a lot of good rebounds at crucial moments."

Inside the Numbers
  • Rampado led the Purple Eagles in scoring with 27 points, tying her career-high. This is the fourth game this season that Rampado has scored over 20 points. She also had a team-high nine rebounds and went a perfect 8-for-8 from the charity stripe.
  • Stroemple added a season-high 19 points, Jamie Sherburne had 14 points and Jai Moore added 10 points.
  • Maggie McIntyre recorded a career-high eight rebounds and she and Claire Wanzer led the Purple Eagles with three steals each.
