NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – The No. 8 Niagara Purple Eagles will face the No. 9 Canisius Golden Griffins in the first round of the MAAC Championships in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 2:00 p.m. The game will air live on ESPN3.

On the Field: Niagara Purple Eagles (7-8-2, 3-6-1 MAAC)
	- Courtney Betts leads the Purple Eagles with a career-high five goals. She is tied for ninth in the MAAC in goals and tied for tenth in points with a team-leading 13.

	- Gretta Dry, Madeline Beaulieu and Paige Buscaglia have all scored a team-high two goals. Dry leads the team in shots (28) and shots on goal (13).
- Emily Czechowski leads the Griffs in assists with three.
- Alana Rossi (7-8-2) has seen the most time in goal for Canisius and has recorded 62 saves. She has recorded the second-most shutouts in the MAAC with eight and is seventh in the MAAC in goals against average (1.10), seventh in saves (62) and ninth in save percentage (.775).
