Game Recap
- Maggie McIntyre opened scoring for the Purple Eagles, hitting a 3-point shot with a little under eight and a half minutes remaining in the first quarter to tie the score, 3-3. McIntyre sank another three with about a minute remaining, but Niagara went into the second quarter trailing Siena, 24-8.
- The Saints went on a 7-0 run to open the second quarter, but the Purple Eagles answered with an 8-0 run of their own. Stroemple had six of Niagara's eight second quarter points and Victoria Rampado had two to put the score at 34-16, with the Saints in the lead, going into halftime.
- Rampado converted a 3-point play to open the third quarter for the Purple Eagles and cut Siena's lead, 36-19.
- Morgan Baughman hit two consecutive threes to put the score at 39-25, with the Saints ahead, with a little under seven and a half minutes remaining in the third quarter.
- Rampado converted another 3-point play with three minutes left in the third quarter to put the Purple Eagles within 12 points of the Saints' lead, 44-32.
- Kharysma Bryant made a layup with a little over thirty seconds remaining in the quarter, but Siena led 54-35 going into the final quarter of play.
- Corselli sank a 3-pointer with a little over six and a half minutes left to play to cut the Saints' lead to 19, 59-40.
- Corselli hit two more threes in the fourth quarter to put the score at 69-49 with a little under two minutes left in the game.
Inside the Numbers
- Corselli led the Purple Eagles in scoring with 14 points. She also brought down five rebounds.
- Rampado led Niagara in rebounding with nine total rebounds.
- Stroemple added 11 points and six rebounds for Niagara.
- Jamie Sherburne had a team-best four assists, tying her season-high.
