Women's Basketball Looks for Second Straight Conference Win at Saint Peter's

•  A Jamie Sherburne jumper with 21 seconds left secured a last minute 56-55 win for Niagara over MAAC opponent Fairfield on Monday, Jan. 4.
•  Sam Lapszynski led the Purple Eagles in scoring and rebounding; she had 20 points and a career-high 13 rebounds and recorded the fourth double-double of her career.
•  Kaylee Stroemple had 16 points and Sherburne added a career-high 11 points.
•  Taylor McKay led Niagara in assists with six, tying her career-best.

•  At Detroit, Lapszynski surpassed her performance against Celeveland State and scored a new career-high of 27 points.
•  She had the second double-double of her career against Monmouth on Dec. 6; she had 12 points and 11 rebounds. She also recorded a new career-best of five blocked shots.
•  Lapszynski recorded her third double-double against St. Bonaventure on Dec. 23 with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
•  Against Fairfield on Jan. 4, Lapszynski had her fourth double-double of her career and the season with 20 points and a new career-high 13 rebounds.

•  The Purple Eagles rank second in assists with 190 total and 14.6 per game.
•  Niagara ranks third in the MAAC in field goal percentage; the Purple Eagles have made 283 of 745 attempted field goals for a percentage of .380.
•  The Purple Eagles are sixth in the MAAC in steals with 100 total and  an average of 7.7 steals per game.
•  Sam Lapszynski ranks first in the MAAC in field goal percentage; she has made 67 of 122 attempted field goals for a percentage of .549.
•  Lapszynski is fourth in blocked shots with 25 total and averages 2.1 per game.
•  Jamie Sherburne ranks second in assists with 54 total and 4.2 per game.
•  Lapszynski and Kaylee Stroemple are sixth and tenth in rebounding, respectively. Lapszynski has a total of 98 rebounds and averages 7.5 per game and Stroemple has a total of 85 rebounds and averages 6.5 per game.
•  Taylor McKay ranks sixth in steals with 22; she averages 1.7 steals per game.
