Women's Soccer Heads to Binghamton on Friday

The Purple Eagles return to the pitch on Friday, Sept. 4 when they travel to play Binghamton at 5 p.m.

  • Niagara is coming off its first win of the season on Aug. 30 when it edged the Robert Morris Colonials, 1-0.
  • Senior forward Haillie Price scored the first goal of the season for the Purple Eagles in the matchup and led the team in shots on goal with four on the day.
  • Price, who was named to the Preseason All-MAAC Women's Soccer Team, led the team last season with six goals and 14 total points.
 
Feiertag Looks to Stay Hot
  • Senior goalkeeper Claire Feiertag recorded her second shutout of the season, stopping all five shots on goal by RMU.
  • The Niagara keeper's most crucial stop came on a Colonials' penalty kick in the 43rd minute.
  • With the shutout, Feiertag tied the all-time program record with 14. 
  • Last season, Feiertag tied two single-season records with a 0.63 save percentage and nine shutouts.
 
Across the Pitch: Binghamton Bearcats (1-1-1)
  • The Purple Eagles are 2-6-0 all-time against the Bearcats.
  • The two squads met last season on Sept. 12, with NU getting the win, 2-1.
