The Purple Eagles (3-3-2; 1-0-0) return home to continue Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play when they host the Iona Gaels on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 1 p.m.

Last Time Out - At Fairfield University on Sept. 19, Niagara came out victorious, 3-1.
- Emily Phillips tallied her first collegiate goal in the 3rd minute by finishing off a Hallie Price cross to give the Purple Eagles the early lead.
- In the 30th minute, Price chipped in her team-leading 6th goal of the season by sneaking a long range effort off the post and in.
- The Stags managed to pull one back in the 56th minute with a long looping kick that just beat the keeper to the near post.
- Eva Bachmann sealed the victory for the Purps in the 85th minute when she took a Shawnique Samuels pass and calmly finished for her first goal of the 2015 campaign.

In the MAAC- Niagara is currently 1-0-0 in MAAC competition.
- Price currently leads the MAAC in shots (42) and shots per game (5.25).
- The Ancaster, Ont. native is tied for second with goals (six) and goals per game (0.75) in the conference, while placing second in total points (13) and tying the league lead for game-winning goals (three).
- Sophomore defender Amelia Gulley and junior midfielder Kori Thorne are tied for eighth in the MAAC with two assists each.
- Senior goalkeeper Claire Feiertag is third in the conference in goals against average (1.18), save percentage (.800) and fourth in total saves (40). She is also fifth in saves per game (5.00) and is tied for fourth in shutouts (two).
Across the Pitch: Iona Gaels (1-8-0, 0-0-0 MAAC)- Niagara and Iona have been competing since 1989, with the last contest coming on Oct. 18, 2014 ending in a 2-2 draw.Â
- The Purple and White are 14-9-2 all-time against Iona.
- Iona is 2-0-1 in its last three matches versus NU
- The Gaels come to Monteagle Ridge to open its MAAC slate with a six-game losing streak.
