Live VideoThe Purple Eagles start their home schedule this weekend when two conference foes come to town. On Saturday, they face off against Fairfield at 1 p.m. and will finish the weekend off against Quinnipiac on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Last Time Out- The Purple Eagles faced off against four tough opponents in the Grand Canyon Invitational, going 1-3 on the weekend.
- NU was resilient against Charleston Southern in a gritty performance, which saw them lose a 2-0 set lead before grabbing the win in a decisive fifth set.
- Alexis Gray paced the team with 91 assists throughout the invitational, recording 39 in the victory over Charleston Southern.
Three Times A Charm- Sophomore libero Rylee Hunt was named to the all-tournament team at the Grand Canyon Invitational.
- Hunt averaged 3.93 digs per set in the four matches while extending her streak of double-digit digs to 21 matches dating back to last season.
- Hunt had a match-high 10 digs against Gonzaga and shared match-high honors with 23 digs versus Charleston Southern.
- She also finished with a .951 save percentage and a .941 reception percentage.
- Hunt has been named to the all-tournament team in all three invitationals this season.
