Last Time Out - At Niagara Field on Sept. 11, Niagara was topped by St. Bonaventure, 3-1.
- NU avoided the shutout when senior forward Haillie Price found the back of the net in the 88th minute for her team-leading fourth goal of the season.
- In Philadelphia on Sept. 13, the Purple Eagles were edged by the Drexel Dragons, 2-1.
- The Dragons got on the board just 16 seconds into the match and added a second tally just before halftime.
- Price scored her fifth goal of the season in the 71st minute, just minutes after a goalie change by Drexel.
In the MAAC- Price currently leads the MAAC in shots (38) and shots per game (5.43).
- The Ancaster, Ont. native is tied for the most goals (five) and goals per game (0.71) in the conference, while being tied for second in points (10) and game-winning goals (two).
- Sophomore defender Amelia Gulley and junior midfielder Kori Thorne are tied for fourth in the MAAC with two assists each.
- Senior goalkeeper Claire Feiertag is fourth in the conference in goals against average (1.21), save percentage (.800) and total saves (36). She is also fifth in saves per game (5.14) and is tied for third in shutouts (two).
Across the Pitch: Fairfield Stags (3-5-0)- Niagara is 7-20-1 in the all-time series with Fairfield.
- The Purple Eagles blanked the Stags last season, 1-0, on Oct. 25. The win was head coach Peter Veltri's 150th career victory at Niagara.
- Niagara's season ended last year against Fairfield in the MAAC Tournament Semifinals on Nov. 7. The score was 1-1, but the Stags edged the Purple Eagles in penalty kicks, 3-2.
- After dropping five of six to start the year, Fairfield is looking for its third win in a row after victories against Rhode Island on Sept. 11 and Holy Cross on Sept. 14.
