Live VideoThe Purple Eagles return to the pitch this weekend when they host the St. Bonaventure Bonnies on Friday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. followed by a trip to Philadelphia for a match against the Drexel Dragons on Sunday, Sept. 13 at 1 p.m.
Coming Home - NU returns to Niagara Field for the first time since it played the Akron Zips to a scoreless draw on Aug. 28.
- The Purple Eagles are seeking their first win at home after setting a program record with a 9-1-1 home record last season.
- Senior goalkeeper Claire Feiertag has not allowed a goal at home in her last 148 minutes of play.
Last Time Out - The Purple Eagles played to a 1-1 tie with the Buffalo Bulls on Sept. 8.
- A goal in the final seconds of regulation prevented Niagara from notching its third straight win, as UB was able to get the equalizer following a corner kick.
- Sophomore midfielder Kelsey Lafferty scored her first goal as a Purple Eagle in the match.
- Feiertag made a season-high nine saves, while senior forward Haillie Price also turned in a season-high 10 shots.
- Niagara's 20 shots as a team was a season-high.
Leading the Way - Price has been the top scorer for Niagara this year with three goals, including two game-winners. She also has a team-high 29 shots and 11 shots on goal.
- Feiertag has two shutouts in 2015 and is tied for the most shutouts in program history with 14. Her next shutout would break the record set by Ashleigh Bowers (2007-10).
- Feiertag has a 0.73 goals against average this season. She tied the lowest single-season mark with a 0.63 GAA in 2014.
Across the Pitch: St. Bonaventure Bonnies (2-2-2) - Niagara is 9-18-1 all-time against St. Bonaventure.
- The teams met last season on Aug. 27, with the Purple Eagles coming out on top, 3-1.
- The Bonnies are coming off a home win on Sept. 6 against Cleveland State, 3-2.
Across the Pitch: Drexel Dragons (4-2-0)- The Purple Eagles are 2-2-0 all-time against the Dragons.
- The teams faced each other last year on Aug. 29, with Niagara getting the win in double overtime, 1-0.
- Before taking on NU on Sunday, Drexel is set to host VCU on Friday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m.
