Purple Eagles Open MAAC Play at Manhattan

•  The Purple Eagles were defeated by the Detroit Titans, 80-75, on Nov. 29 in Detroit.
•   Sam Lapszynski led the Purple Eagles in scoring with a career-high 27 points.

•  Lapszynski ranks 21st out of 250 ranked playes in the NCAA in field goal percentage with a FG% of .625. She is ranked 2nd in the MAAC in the same category.

•  Niagara and Manhattan last met on March 5, 2015 in the MAAC Tournament 1st Round in Albany, N.Y.  
•  The Purple Eagles defeated Manhattan 57-51, bringing their win streak against the Jaspers to three games.

•  Amani Tatum leads the Jaspers in scoring witth 77 points on the season so far; she averages 12.8 points per game. She also leads the team in steals, averaging 2.3 per game.
•  Taylor Williams scored a career-high 25 points in her first start of the season against Brown on Nov. 29. 
•  Shayna Ericksen was a Preseason All-MAAC Third Team selection for the second year in a row.
