Live Video The Niagara volleyball team concludes its three-match homestand by hosting rival Canisius on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Last Time Out- Niagara dropped its matches against Siena (3-2) and Marist (3-1) last weekend, dropping to 5-11 overall and 2-4 in MAAC play.
In The MAAC- Rylee Hunt is ranked third in the MAAC and 77th nationally with her 4.56 digs per set. Her 269 total digs are third best in the MAAC as well.
- Niagara is seventh in the MAAC in assists per set average of 10.15, being led by Alexis Gray who is sixth in assists with 342 and an average of 6.71 per set.
Across the Net: Canisius Golden Griffins (5-13, 3-3 MAAC)- Niagara has a 31-32 all-time record against the Golden Griffins, including winning seven of the last 10 meetings.
- The Purple Eagles swept the two regular season meetings before falling to Canisius in the MAAC Tournament Fifth Place Match.
- Canisius also dropped its matches against Marist and Siena last weekend, and are 2-3 in their last five matches.
- The Griffs have the fourth best hitting percentage in the MAAC at .177, as well as being third best in blocks per set with 1.85.
- Grace Streicher is second in the MAAC with a 9.91 assists per set average; while Katlyn Tyler's 3.61 kills per set average is second best in the MAAC as well.
