• The Purple Eagles lead the all-time series 25-18-2.
• Niagara is 6-2-1 in the last nine meetings, including winning both meetings last season. The last regular season loss to Canisius occurred on Nov. 1 2008, with NU dropping a 1-0 match.
• Canisius is led by sophomore Taylor Kugler, who's four goals and four assists combine for a team-leading 12 points.

Battle of the Bridge

• The Battle of the Bridge is the all-sports competition between cross-town rivals Niagara University and Canisius College, with points being awarded to the winning school of each meeting.
• Niagara currently leads the 2015-16 edition of the Battle of the Bridge 1-0, as NU's women's volleyball team swept Canisius in straight sets on Oct. 10.
