Volleyball Visits Rival Canisius Saturday

After collecting their first MAAC victory of the season, the Purple Eagles look to keep up the momentum when they travel to face archrival Canisuis on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

  • The Purple Eagles (5-10, 1-3 MAAC) snapped a six-match losing streak with a four-set win over the Saint Peter's Peacocks on Saturday.
  • Freshman Nicole Matheis led the team with 13 kills, but it was classmate Rayenne Hale who had a career-best 11 kills and .500 hitting percentage.
  • Niagara had 68 digs in the match for the most in a four-set match this season.
