MAAC TV Schedule
EDISON, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has announced the ESPN broadcast schedule for the 2013-14 men's and women's basketball season.
Niagara basketball will be on the ESPN family of networks for a total of six times. The men's team will be featured four times and the women's team twice.
The first ESPN televised game will be the Niagara men at Fairfield on Jan. 16 on ESPN3 at 8:30 p.m. NU men will be on ESPN3 on Jan. 30 at Siena and on Feb. 1 at Marist. The Purple Eagles' only home ESPN contest will be on Feb. 14 against Canisius. The Battle of the Bridge matchup will be on either ESPNU or ESPN3 as part of ESPN's Rivalry Week. There are other opportunities for the team to be on ESPN as there are five Fridays in Jan. and Feb. designated as "wildcards" with two games scheduled each night.
The women's two ESPN3 games are at archrival Canisius on Feb. 7 and at new MAAC member Monmouth on Feb. 22.
ESPN will also televise the 2014 MAAC Tournament in Springfield, Mass. starting on March 8. All of the men's quarterfinal and semifinal games will be on ESPN3 and the championship will be on either ESPN or ESPN2. The women's semifinals will air on ESPN3 and the championship on ESPNU.
