Purple Eagles 101
The Purple Eagles enter the game at 0-7-0 overall, after falling to Duquesne, 1-0 in overtime, in their most recent outing. 

Breanna Catipovic, a senior forward, currently leads the Purple Eagles with seven points and three goals, while junior Haillie Price posts five points and two goals on the year.  Six different Purps have picked up at least one point during the 2013 season.

Claire Feiertag has appeared and started in six games for Niagara.  She has made 25 saves and allowed 12 goals this year.

Last Time Out
In their most recent outing, the Purple Eagles lost a 1-0 overtime decision to Duquesne at the Purps' home turf on Sept. 15.  Niagara's Claire Feiertag made six saves in the loss.

Scouting the Bulls
The Bulls enter the contest with an overall record of 3-1-2.  In its most recent outing, UB won against Austin Peay at UB Stadium, 1-0. 

Overall, the Bulls are led by a trio of players who have posted a team-high two points on the year.  Katie Roberts, Sophie Therien and Megan Abman have each picked up a goal, while Kristin Markiewicz has a point off an assist. 

Goalkeeper Ainsley Wheldon has gone 2-1-1 in net for the Bulls, making 25 saves and allowing three goals in 2013. 

All-Time Against Buffalo
Wednesday's match-up marks the 32nd all-time meeting between Niagara and Buffalo.  The Bulls lead the all-time series, 20-11-0.  Last season, Niagara beat the Bulls 1-0 in double overtime.

What's Ahead for the Purps
After playing Buffalo, Niagara opens Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play with it hosts Monmouth on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. at Niagara Field.
