NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – The Niagara women's soccer team returns to Monteagle Ridge after a three-game road trip to host the Duquesne Dukes on Sunday, Sept. 15. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Niagara Field.

Purple Eagles 101
The Purple Eagles go into Sunday's match still looking for their first win of the 2013 season, holding a 0-5-0 record. The squad dropped a pair of close matches this past weekend, falling to Ohio 2-1 on a pair of late second half goals, and Binghamton, 3-1.
The NU attack has been led by
Haillie Price who leads the team with five points off a pair of goals and an assist.
Breanna Catipovic has pocketed four points with two goals, while
Catherine Meyer has also scored a goal and contributed a helper.
Claire Feiertag will likely earn the nod in net. The sophomore has made 13 saves so far this season for a .619 save percentage and a 2.27 goals-against average.
Taking a Look at Duquesne
The Dukes currently own a 1-4-0 record, but will battle Buffalo before taking to the field against Niagara on Sunday. After pocketing an overtime victory over Saint Francis in its opening game, Duquesne has dropped its last four matches.
A.J. Baroffio leads the Dukes with three points off a goal and an assist, while Maggie Mayo (1-0-2) and Amy Vinopal (0-1-1) have also contributed to the offense.
Devon Tabata and Ashley Szalwinski have split time in goal so far this season. The duo have combined for 24 saves, with Tabata owning a .818 save percentage and a 1.32 GAA and Szalwinski earning a .667 save percentage and a 1.39 GAA.
All-Time vs. the Dukes
Duquesne holds a lean 4-3-1 advantage over Niagara in the all-time series. The last time these two teams met was last season in Pittsburgh, Pa. where the Dukes came out with a 2-1 victory.
