Purple Eagles Begin Four-Match Road Trip This Weekend

The Niagara volleyball team starts its four-match road trip this weekend with matches versus Manhattan and Iona.

The Purple Eagles are coming off of two five-set defeats last weekend to Rider and Saint Peter's. In the last meeting with the Jaspers, Niagara was edged in five sets. The two teams played an epic fourth set with Manhattan coming away with a 37-35 win. Niagara fell to Iona in straight sets the next day.

Consecutive Career-High Performances
• In the match against Saint Peter's, Amanda Sedore's career-high 21 kills and .367 hitting percentage led the match as she notched her fourth career double-double.  Logan Rae also set a new career-mark with 48 assists.
• Sophomore Chelsea Watson recorded a match-high 18 kills against Rider to set a new career mark.
