With the score tied at 18-18, Canisius went on a 7-1 run to win the set.
The third set was a reversal of fortune for the Purple Eagles trailing. Trailing 12-5, a kill by Sedore sparked a 20-4 run by Niagara as it forced a fourth set. Stone and
Melissa McGwin did damage during the set, accounting for a combined 11 kills. The fourth set saw Canisius jump out to a 16-5 lead in which Niagara was unable to comeback from.
