The Purple Eagles head back on the road to continue conference play against Quinnipiac on Saturday and Fairfield on Sunday. 

Niagara's (1-17, 0-7 MAAC) tough luck continued last weekend as it was denied its first conference win of the season in a five-set loss to Manhattan, followed by a straight set defeat to Iona.

Oh So Close
• Niagara was inches away from claiming its first MAAC win of the season against Manhattan.
• Leading 2-1 after three sets and up 11-1 to start the fourth set, the set was eventually tied at 23-23.
• The Jaspers won the set, 37-35, and won the final set to win the match.

Versatile Rae
• Logan Rae has played three different positions in two seasons at Niagara.
• Her debut as setter versus Manhattan was a strong one as she led the match with 39 assists for the most by a Purple Eagle this season.
• She had a team-high 18 assists the next day against Iona.

Doubling Up
• Amanda Sedore and Alex Stone each recorded their first-ever double-double against Manhattan.
• Sedore had a team-high 14 kills and 13 digs, while Stone had 12 kills and 11 digs.

• After this weekend, Niagara will play three straight home games.
• The Purple Eagles will host Canisius on Oct. 19, followed by Saint Peter's (Oct. 26) and Rider (Oct. 27).
