NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - The Niagara women's soccer team (0-2) will hit the road again this weekend, taking on the Toledo Rockets (1-2-1) and the Bowling Green Falcons (0-3).
The Purple Eagles will be looking for their first win against the Rocketswhen the two teams meet for just the second time ever on Friday at 5:30 p.m. Niagara hasn't played Toledo since the 1999 season, the year that head coach Peter Veltri took over the program.
Niagara will wrap up its four-game, season-opening road trip on Sunday at 1 p.m., when they take on Bowling Green, for just the third time in program history. Niagara played Bowling Green to a scoreless tie at Niagara Field last year.
Following this weekend's games, the Purple Eagles return home to Niagara Field for their next four games, starting with IPFW at 7 p.m. on Sept. 9.
