Niagara will host its final home game of the season when the Purple Eagles face the Loyola Greyhounds on Sunday afternoon. Seniors Erika Harris, Kayleigh Scannell and Kristina Walton will be honored before the game.

Loyola ranks last in the MAAC in rebounding margin (-10.0 rpg) and steals (6.6 spg). Loyola is doing well at the free-throw line, shooting 72.4 percent (third in the MAAC). Senior Siobhan Prior leads the team with 12.5 ppg and ranks 11th in the conference. Junior forward Kailtin Grant averages 11.0 ppg and her 8.0 rpg is fifth in the MAAC.

BALTIMORE – In its second consecutive one-point game, the Niagara Purple Eagles fell to the Loyola Greyhounds 64-63 on Friday night at the Reitz Arena. Rachele Folino led the game with a career-high 27 points and 10 rebounds in the game that was played live on ESPNU.

Niagara fell in a heartbreaking ESPNU nail bitter, 64-63, in its last meeting versus the Greyhounds. The Purple Eagles have struggled to get wins against the Greyhounds in the series that began on Feb. 10, 1990; Niagara won three of four meetings from Feb. 2003 - Dec. 2004. Niagara has not won in Baltimore since Feb. 23, 1992 (3-13, won the first three games).
