NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. - The Niagara volleyball team (3-14, 1-5 MAAC) fell in straight sets in its final match of a four-game road swing, losing to Saint Peter's (8-11, 3-3 MAAC) on Sunday, 25-22, 25-18, 25-18.

Freshman Kathy Bibler (Bowling Green, Ohio) had 12 kills and a .435 hitting percentage in the loss for Niagara. The 6-foot middle hitter has 76 kills in her last six matches.

"(Sunday) was a very disappointing loss for our team," Niagara head coach Susan Clements said. "We did not compete at the level that we are capable of."

Freshmen Sam Morgan (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Hannah Hedrick (Cincinnati, Ohio) each recorded 10 digs. Setter Michelle James (Cincinnati, Ohio) narrowly missed a double-double with 27 assists and nine digs.

The Purple Eagles return home for a pair of MAAC matches next weekend, facing Iona on Saturday and Manhattan on Sunday.
