Siena Stops Volleyball in Straight Sets

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - The Niagara volleyball team (4-20, 2-10 MAAC) dropped a straight-set match at Siena (11-11, 9-2 MAAC) on Saturday afternoon, 25-22, 25-13, 25-19.

"We had a very difficult time finding our momentum," Niagara head coach Susan Clements said. "We just couldn't get our feet moving."

Freshman Kathy Bibler (Bowling Green, Ohio) had a match-high 12 kills while attacking at a .240 percentage. Classmate Hannah Hedrick (Cincinnati, Ohio) chipped in with eight.

Setter Michelle James (Cincinnati, Ohio) handed out 32 assists, while rookie libero Sam Morgan (Cincinnati, Ohio) added a match-high 13 digs.

Niagara faces Marist on Sunday in a matinee in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
