HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Niagara University volleyball team (0-3) ran into a better opponent in its final match of the Colgate Classic Saturday afternoon on Cottrell Court. The Purple Eagles lost to New Hampshire (3-0) in three games, 30-18, 30-12 and 30-21.

For the third consecutive match, seniors Maurin Lawrence (Corfu, N.Y.) and Raelean Rush (Amherst, N.Y./Sweet Home) led Niagara offensively, collecting five kills each. Senior Sara Mancini (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster) led the Purple Eagles with nine digs.

Niagara returns to action next weekend when it hosts the Western New York Invitational at the legendary Taps Gallagher Center.
